Admission Procedure For (Navyug Schools)

 

1.

Who can apply

Children residing in New Delhi Parliamentary Constituency. Age: 5½ to 6½ years for Class-I and 10 to 12 years for Class-VI. Income of parents should not exceed Rs. 75,000/- per annum.

When to apply

In response to admission schedule published in newspapers every year in the month of February.

How to apply

In prescribed registration forms available from schools, enclosing birth certificate, proof of residence in New Delhi Parliamentary Constituency & income certificate.

Where to apply

In the nearby NavyugSchool.

5.

Procedure for admission

Children fulfilling required qualifications will be called for interview.

6.

Confirmation/rejection of the admission

Results of selected students will be displayed on the Notice Board of School in March.

Admission Policy for Navyug School

     As per the admission policy admission in class - I are taken on the basis of screening test that is conducted by SCERT. 70% seats for admission are reserved for students in category "A" (Parental Annual Income below 75,000/ per annum) and 30% seats are reserved for category 'B' (Parental Annual Income above 75,000/- per annum). 10% seats are reserved for SC/ST children and 05% seats for the children of NDMC employees in each of two categories. 50% seats in both the categories are reserved for students from NDMC schools subject to qualifying in the screening process. Admission is open to residents within the jurisdiction of New Delhi Parliamentary Constituency. Sarojini Nagar is the only school which admits students in class VI based on the written examination conducted by the NCERT in addition to the students of class V of the said schools who automatically get promoted to class VI.

Fee Structure: Like NDMC Schools the education is free of cost in Navyug Schools.
